Amazon announced that they have ‘listened to their critics’ and will start paying their workers an extra £1.50 an hour. But for some workers this ‘pay rise’ is actually a pay cut because we're losing valuable shares.

I work at Amazon, and we were told that we'll not get given a share each year anymore. They said our pay rise makes up for this, but it doesn't.

Petition text

To Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon and Doug Gurr, UK manager of Amazon

Your 'pay rise' is actually a pay cut for your most loyal staff. You're taking away our shares, even though we've put in thousands of hours of hard work to build this company.

Please make sure all staff get to keep their shares alongside the pay rise.

Sincerely,

Amazon staff and customers
