To Greg Clarke MP - Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy,

There's an unfair gap in the wages of ethnic minorities in comparison to their fellow workers.

To close that gap, all large companies should be made to publish their ethnic pay gaps. That way, the companies with the biggest gaps will be exposed and forced to improve.

Please live up to your commitment of improving equality and make companies publish their ethnic pay gap.

Why is this important?

Ethnic minorities are paid less on average than their colleagues, at thousands of companies across the UK. That’s why the government are under pressure to make big companies report their ethnic pay gaps and force the worst offenders to improve.

The government started asking if they should force big companies to publish their data. But the problem is, they’re only asking the big companies! Together we can make sure they hear from employees too.
